Well, as mentioned earlier, 2011 Buick Enclave is available in four trim levels. Let’s take a look at each of the four trim levels available and open our world to the new standard of luxury crossovers – 2011 Buick Enclave.
Available Trim: 2011 Buick Enclave CX
First, there’s the Enclave CX. The MSRP for the CX starts at $35,615 and includes many standard features that you’d expect in a luxury vehicle. The CX comes standard with three rows of first-class seating, a power rear liftgate, and has better highway fuel economy than any other eight-passenger crossover on the market. The ride is an incredible experience due to Buick’s exclusive QuietTuned interior. A quiet interior is crucial when coupled with 288 peak horsepower. The 2011 Buick Enclave comes with a 3.6L VVT V6 engine with direct injection. Variable Valve Timing (VVT) and direct injection work together to help maximize fuel mileage and performance. The Enclave CX is also available with a 6-speed automatic transmission, which helps provide smoother shift points and gives the drivetrain a great way to minimize engine rpms which maximizes fuel mileage.
Available Trim: 2011 Buick Enclave CXL
Next we have the Buick Enclave CXL. The Enclave CXL is similar to the CX, but has a litany of available interior amenities. The Enclave CXL truly displays why it is the finest luxury crossover ever made. One of the luxury features available on the CXL is its memory settings capability. The Enclave CXL has memory settings or presets for 2 drivers. This means you can save driver settings in the memory for Enclave’s 8-way power driver seat, power outside mirrors, and power tilt and telescopic steering column (if equipped). 2011 Enclave CXL also has Ultrasonic Rear Parking Assist as a standard feature. The Ultrasonic Rear Parking Assist system you’ll feel confident every time you parallel park your Enclave CXL. It activates automatically when you shift into reverse, and the sensors in the rear helps judge the distance behind your back bumper or objects and the vehicle or objects behind you. The sensors can detect up to 8 feet away, and the system beeps to indicate how close you’re getting – the more frequent the beeps, the closer you are. When the distance closes to 12″ or less, the tone becomes continuous. You can turn the system off easily, if you choose. In addition to relying on beeps, Enclave CXL comes standard with a rearview camera system so you can actually see what’s behind you. As soon as you put the vehicle into reverse, a pop-up inset in the rear view mirror displays what’s behind you, or you can see what’s behind you using the Enclave’s navigation screen on the dashboard. Additional luxury features on the Enclave CXL are the remote vehicle starter system, 4-way power front passenger seat, and the highly coveted heated front seats.
Additional Trims: 2011 Buick Enclave CX AWD and CXL AWD
In addition to the two trim levels mentioned above (CX & CXL), the 2011 Buick Enclave is available in two other trims – CX AWD & CXL AWD. A vehicle such as the Enclave is so diverse; its engineers understand that many Enclave owners will have the need for All Wheel Drive (AWD). So, they gave you the option of getting either the CX or CXL in 2WD or AWD. The AWD models master the art of traction, and when conditions demand more traction, the intelligent all-wheel-drive system is automatically activated. It continuously senses conditions and proactively optimizes handling and traction without pushing a single button. The all-wheel drive system is intelligent meaning it continuously and automatically senses traction loss, and if it finds traction loss it sends power to the wheels with the most grip.
